Cranberry School Council

The school council is Cranberry’s student voice! It is made up of 2 representatives from each class, making a total of 14 pupils.

It meets weekly to discuss school business with a member of the School Senior Leadership Team. Recently, the school council have been discussing the renaming of the school houses, our chosen charity of the year and ideas for ways to develop the woodland and outdoor learning environment. If you have any fundraising ideas then let you class councillor know!

We have also been given a budget to spend on improving some of the play equipment we can use at playtime! How would you like to make playtimes more exciting?

After the school council has met, the class councillors share their discussions with the rest of their classes during class council time. This gives all pupils the opportunity to have a voice and contribute to making Cranberry Academy a great place to be!
